Total Alkalinity represents the number of bicarbonates, carbonates, and hydroxides present in water. It represents the water’s degree of resistance to change pH.
To increase total alkalinity add spamaster Alkalinity up at the rate of 17g per 1000 L to achieve an increase of 10ppm. Small quantities may be broadcast directly into the water, dissolve larger quantities in a bucket.
